Job summary

Randstad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing activities and oversee vendor relations to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will plan sourcing initiatives for industrial materials, machinery and engineering components, while negotiating with suppliers and establishing vendor frameworks to optimize spend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Diploma or degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated track record in negotiations, supplier evaluation and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities and oversee vendor relationships for continuity.
• Plan and execute sourcing initiatives for industrial materials and engineering components.
• Negotiate with suppliers and establish approved vendor frameworks.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies and monitor market trends to optimize spend.
• Coordinate with production, QA and engineering to align material requirements with schedules.
• Coordinate international purchasing workflows, including shipment tracking and customs.
