• Lead sourcing and procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services from qualified suppliers

• Develop, implement and improve purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Drive cost optimization, supplier rationalization and process efficiency

• Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, service) to ISO and internal standards

Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of materials, equipment, and services. Develop and execute purchasing strategies that support operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance with organizational and ISO standards.

Job responsibilities:

Lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services from qualified and reliable suppliers

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve optimal value and cost savings

Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted plant operations

Develop, implement, and continuously improve purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives

Drive cost optimization initiatives, supplier rationalization, and process efficiency improvements

Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation within purchasing processes

Evaluate, select, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost competitiveness, and reliability

Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, service level) in compliance with ISO and internal standards

Build strong supplier relationships and manage contract performance

Oversee store operations to maintain optimal inventory levels

Job Requirements:

Degree in Business Administration, Economics or any related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within a manufacturing environment

Proven experience in managing and leading a team

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management

Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (ERP knowledge is an added advantage)

Willing to be based in Banting (near KLIA, Sepang)
