Job summary

Genius Promenade Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Senior Procurement Executive (Clothing Line) to manage sourcing, purchasing activities and supplier coordination for our fashion business. The role focuses on ensuring quality fabrics and garments are sourced cost-effectively and delivered on time.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years purchasing experience in clothing/fashion, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Fashion Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in clothing, fashion, textile, or garment industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiar with sourcing fabrics, garment materials, and fashion-related products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase fabrics, garments, accessories, trims, and related materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with merchandising, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment.
• Compare quotations and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Familiar with sourcing fabrics, garment materials, and fashion-related products.

Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Ability to converse in other language is preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners.
