Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials and services for our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier management, cost negotiations, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and compliance with company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source potential suppliers based on project specifications.
- Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain the Approved Vendor List.
- Coordinate with Project Teams and suppliers on technical clarifications.
- Negotiate with shortlisted suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase orders with the appropriate commercial terms and conditions.
- Prepare Bid Tabulations (Bid Tabs) for management approval.
- Prepare Purchaser's Terms & Conditions for purchases exceeding SGD150,000.
- Process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Teams on urgent procurement requirements.
- Liaise with Materials and Logistics Controllers on GR/GI matters.
- Work closely with the Finance team to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Expedite deliveries when required to meet project schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers for the return or replacement of defective materials.
- Purchase materials for Singapore projects when required.
- Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to the Procurement Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Engineering, EPC, or Construction industry.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, RFQ management, and commercial negotiations.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing documentation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
