Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive (Malaysia) is seeking a Process Operator II to support our home care product lines in a busy manufacturing plant. You will prepare, weigh ingredients, mix according to SPI, and manage line changes to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least SPM/SPVM, 3 years in manufacturing finishing lines, and a solid grasp of mathematics and science. Proficiency in BM or English is required to communicate clearly on the floor.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least SPM/SPVM.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing finishing lines.
• Good basic understanding of Mathematics and Science.
• Ability to speak and write clearly in either Bahasa Malaysia or English.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and convert them into the required number of batches.
• Prepare and weigh minor ingredients accurately for batch making.
• Mix and create products strictly according to formula and SPI.
• Ensure continuous supply of work-in-process materials to filler machines.
• Ensure correct product is pumped to storage tanks and fillers by managing valves.
• Conduct in-plant quality checks and send samples to the lab.
• Maintain equipment, raw materials, and facilities in good, safe condition.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections of tank farm and rooftop areas.
• Enter daily production reports, material usage, and lot numbers into SAP.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and sanitization.
