Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Malaysia is offering an Internship in Plant Operations within the Supply Chain team. You will participate in plant floor tasks, manage tasks and workflows, and monitor production costs for efficiency while supporting equipment performance improvements.

Duration is a minimum of 6 months. The role also involves process analysis, statistical monitoring, and routine reporting to help optimize production.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with CGPA 3.5+.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in statistical tools and process-control software.
• Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plant floor operations and core operational tasks within the plant operations team.
• Efficiently manage personnel activities by assigning tasks and adjusting workflows and schedules; monitor and discuss production costs for cost efficiency with management; ensure optimal resource utilization to maximize productivity; evaluate and maintain equipment performance.
• Process analysis, statistical process control, process design, PFD development, and routine operational monitoring and reporting
