Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive (Malaysia) is seeking a Process Operator II to support our home care product lines in a busy manufacturing plant. You will prepare, weigh ingredients, mix according to SPI, and manage line changes to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least SPM/SPVM, 3 years in manufacturing finishing lines, and a solid grasp of mathematics and science. Proficiency in BM or English is required to communicate clearly on the floor.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least SPM/SPVM.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing finishing lines.
• Good basic understanding of Mathematics and Science.
• Ability to speak and write clearly in either Bahasa Malaysia or English.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and convert them into the required number of batches.
• Prepare and weigh minor ingredients accurately for batch making.
• Mix and create products strictly according to formula and SPI.
• Ensure continuous supply of work-in-process materials to filler machines.
• Ensure correct product is pumped to storage tanks and fillers by managing valves.
• Conduct in-plant quality checks and send samples to the lab.
• Maintain equipment, raw materials, and facilities in good, safe condition.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections of tank farm and rooftop areas.
• Enter daily production reports, material usage, and lot numbers into SAP.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and sanitization.

Job description

As a Process Operator II, you are at the heart of our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and producing our home care products safely and accurately. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on worker who takes pride in making high-quality products and keeping our production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and convert them into the required number of batches
• Prepare and weigh minor ingredients accurately for batch making
• Mix and create products strictly according to formula and Standard Process Instructions (SPI)
• Ensure a continuous supply of work-in-process materials to the filler machines
• Ensure the right product is pumped to the correct storage tanks and fillers by managing the right valves
• Conduct in-plant quality checks and take product samples to send to the lab for analysis
• Keep all equipment, raw materials, and facilities in good, safe condition before starting production
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, including the tank farm and rooftop areas
• Enter daily production reports, material usage, and lot numbers accurately into the SAP system
• Perform machine changeovers, scheduled cleaning, and sanitization

About you

• Completed at least SPM or SPVM
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in manufacturing finishing lines

• Ability to speak and write clearly in either Bahasa Malaysia or English
