Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. We seek a Process Engineering Manager located in Batu Kawan, Penang to lead and grow a team of process engineers.

You will manage projects to meet product specs, delivery, and cost targets, working with engineering teams to design manufacturable products and improve process throughput in constrained areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of process engineering and prior managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
