Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Prai, Penang site. The role focuses on cost, quality, and delivery improvements within a manufacturing organization and involves process development, capital equipment projects, ECO management, and transfer of new processes.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of NPI/PCBA experience are desired, with a strong emphasis on statistical process control and robust manufacturing techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in NPI and PCBA.
• Experience enabling cost, quality and delivery improvements.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process and product.
• Define, implement and evaluate manufacturability designs and processes.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in daily production activities and solve daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Interface with production on new process implementation and transfer.
