Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer Process Integration to define a new manufacturing platform for existing products, ensuring cost and quality targets are met. The role also serves as a critical leader for the quality and productivity teams, solving complex technical issues across FE-BE and BE-BE stages.

The successful candidate will drive improvements by installing, monitoring, and analyzing indicators, and will govern processes and manage complexity

Qualifications

• Good aptitude in engineering analysis, problem solving and solution finding.
• Experience with analytical methodologies (8D/DOE/SPC/FMEA).
• Knowledge of process/packaging in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Define new manufacturing platform of existing product to ensure design to cost and quality.
• Act as a replacement for a critical position leading quality and productivity teams.
• Resolve complex technical issues using methodical problem-solving across FE-BE and BE-BE integration.
• Originates new ideas, sets technical directions and implements continuous improvements using leading and lagging indicators.
• Oversees technical/process governance and complexity management for new package/product introductions.

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Responsible to define new manufacturing platform of existing product toensure design to cost and quality.

Replacement for critical position for quality and productivity team lead.

Solve complex technical issues using methodical problem-solving techniques focusing on FE-BE and BE-BE (Pre-assembly, assembly, test) integration; aswell as the interactions of process-equipment-materials.

Originate new thoughts, set technical directions and subsequently implement (continuous) improvements by installing, monitoring and analyzing a set/setsof leading and lagging indicators; e.g. quality indexes.

Responsible for technical/ process governance and complexity management mainly with regards to new package/ product introduction, Process BlockCatalogue, and Problematic & Good series of products (improvement of production stability through product/ package redesign).

Drive NLoZD Team to achieve related Quality improvement to achieve KPIs (mainly quality, productivity, speed) which ultimately contribute to the targets ofAssembly and Test.

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Degree / Master /PhD in Engineering (SemiconductorTechnology, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, MaterialScience, Applied Science / Science, Manufacturing) with 10 years related semiconductor experience, specificallyin Process/Material/Equipment Engineering, or package Development.

Good aptitude in engineering analysis, problem solving and solution finding,working experience on analytical methodology, eg 8D, DOE, SPC,FMEA, etc.

Strong Knowledge of FOL & EOL process & development.

Ability to see the big picture with strategic thinking skills and havingstrong decision making capabilities.

Capability in providing innovative and creative ideas to provide the solutionsaligns to the technology advancement and changes in the market.

Capability to work under pressure and making fast and right decision.
