Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Engineer Unit Process Engineering to sustain and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring stable yield, high quality and productive operations. You will lead yield, quality and cost improvement initiatives, provide lot disposition decisions, and support process qualifications, engineering changes and new product introductions.

• Lead yield, quality and cost improvement projects.
• Provide lot disposition decisions and support process qualifications, engineering changes and new product introductions.

In this role, you willsustain and optimize manufacturing processesto ensure stable yield, product quality, and operational productivity while driving continuous improvement initiativesto enhance process performance and efficiency. You will lead yield, quality, and cost improvement projects, provide lot disposition decisions, and support process qualifications, engineering changes, and new product introductionsto achieve business objectives and customer requirements.

Monitor process performance anddrive continuous improvement initiativesto enhance operational efficiency

Drive yield improvement, quality enhancement, and cost reduction projects to meet business objectives

Review andprovide lot disposition decisionsto ensure product quality and timely delivery

Support qualification, process changes, and new product introductions

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You strive to apply your expertise in laser marking, laser singulation, mechanical sawing, pick and place processes, and quality management activitiesto support effective lot disposition, quality issue resolution, and manufacturing excellence. You possess strong knowledge of quality control, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methodologies, with the ability to communicate effectively,collaborate across stakeholders, and perform well under pressureto meet business objectives and deadlines.

Degree in Engineering or related discipline with a minimum3 to 5 yearsof working experience in a related field

Experience in laser marking, laser singulation, mechanical sawing, pick and place

Experience in handling MRB and FAR activities

Responsible forlot disposition andquality issue resolution

Knowledge ofquality control,inspection techniques, and problem-solving methodologies

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysiaand English

Good presentation and communication skills; able tocommunicate clearlyand collaborate effectively with different stakeholders

Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
