Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer Unit Process Engineering to develop and sustain robust manufacturing processes while driving yield, quality, and process improvements. You will lead corrective actions such as FAR, MRB, PDP and SCAR closures and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver quality enhancements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role In this role, you will develop and sustain robust manufacturing processes while driving continuous yield, quality, and process improvement initiatives to achieve operational KPIs and business objectives. You will lead and support corrective action activities , including FAR, MRB, PDP, and SCAR closures , while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality enhancements, cost reduction, and a high-performance work culture. Responsible to develop a robust process and continuously drive improvement in yield and quality to meet KPI Accountable and drive for 8D closure of FAR, MRB, PDP and SCAR Leading and participating in yield & quality improvement and cost reduction activities Practice high performance behavior and together work as Team to strive excellent

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You strive for excellence by applying your knowledge of semiconductor assembly manufacturing, molding/EOL processes, manufacturing equipment, and reliability fundamentals to drive yield, quality, and process improvements. You possess strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills , with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges effectively while collaborating across different levels of the organization to achieve high-performance team goals. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics /Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Materials Science / Semiconductor Technology Minimum 1-2 years related experience in Molding/EOL Process Engineering or in Semiconductor Assembly Manufacturing background Knowledge of S tatistical data analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to anticipate issues and challenges and resolving them quickly Posses knowledge and skills in manufacturing process & some equipment knowledge Systematic Problem-Solving methodology (e.g. 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, Fish Bond …etc.) Good knowledge and skills in production area ; able to communicate with different level of staffs First level reliability (Knowledge of various failure modes, knowledge of application and respective reliability requirements and test standards) Practice high performance behavior and together work as Team to strive excellent
