Agensi Pekerjaan ASK Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support plant automation and maintenance across manufacturing facilities in Negeri Sembilan. The role focuses on PLC programming, instrumentation maintenance, and system reliability, with emphasis on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Instrumentation Engineering with at least 5 years hands-on experience, including SCADA/HMI familiarity, CMMS

Qualifications

Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Instrumentation systems and PLC programming.
Strong knowledge of plant PLC systems and drives troubleshooting.
Skilled in reading electrical diagrams and performing field diagnostics.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing plant maintenance.
Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMI programming, and industrial communication protocols.
Knowledge of maintenance reporting systems (e.g., CMMS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLC systems, and drives (VFDs, servo drives).
Perform PLC programming, modification, and system integration (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Ensure the proper functioning of all plant automation and control systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on Instrumentation and control equipment.
Prepare and maintain Instrumentation reports and system documentation.
Support plant operations by minimising downtime and enhancing system reliability.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and electrical standards.
