Job summary

NOLEK SDN BHD in Penang is seeking an experienced System Control Engineer (PLC Programmer) to design, develop, and maintain PLC control systems for industrial automation and leak testing projects. The role covers PLC, HMI, and control software development, electrical schematics, and on-site service.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering and at least 2 years of PLC experience, with Siemens PLC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PLC programming, system control or industrial automation; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly Siemens PLC; experience with other PLC platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and programme PLC control systems for automation and leak testing applications.
• Develop and maintain PLC, HMI and control system software to meet project requirements.
• Design and develop electrical control circuits and schematics for automation systems.
• Plan, monitor and execute automation projects from design to commissioning.
• Perform onsite service, troubleshooting and technical support for existing and new systems.
