Job summary

Broadcom in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Senior Test Engineer specializing in technology transfer, documentation, and test optimization. You will collaborate with R&D, CM partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth volume production of new products and robust test processes.

Candidate should have 5+ years in test engineering, with experience in optics/electronics manufacturing, automation skills, and strong problem-solving abilities across electrical, mechanical, optical, and software

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in test engineering roles, preferably within optics and/or electronics manufacturing.
• Automation experience including motion control, machine vision, and database access.

Responsibilities

• Transfer new products and test setups to CM plants with documentation and work instructions.
• Support engineering change activities with rigorous product testing and evaluation.
• Drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• Enhance production test effectiveness and develop new test methodologies and hardware configurations.
