Lumentum Operations LLC in Penang is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to ensure testability and manufacturability of optical components from feasibility to production ramp. You will develop and debug software for process and test equipment, and contribute to design and validation of test methodologies.

The role requires 7 years of hands-on experience, a degree in electrical engineering, and strong problem-solving skills.

Formación

• 7 years of experience in test engineering, automation, or software development in a hardware environment.

Responsabilidades

• Work with R&D, TE, and Operation teams and external suppliers to define and develop automated test systems for high volume production.
• Develop, implement, and release to factory test strategies, processes, and tools that meet speed, scale, cost and quality for optical components such as CW lasers and ELS.
• Perform statistical data analysis and troubleshoot potential root causes for yield enhancement.
• Identify and drive initiatives for test automation, process improvements, test time and cost reductions, and yield improvements.
• Lead troubleshooting and FA activities in close coordination with suppliers and Operation team to exceed tester uptime/utilization targets.
