Job summary

Capcon Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to modernise the Online Account module within the Front Office team, collaborating with KL & SG colleagues. You will refactor legacy systems, define action plans, and contribute to strategic technical decisions under the Front Office leadership in Singapore.

The role requires strong .NET Core expertise, microservices experience, and AWS familiarity, with a hybrid work arrangement (KLCC area, 1 day WFH).

Qualifications

• .NET Core 7 or higher proficiency.
• Experience leading a small team and coordinating across functions.
• Ability to refactor legacy apps and manage technical debt.
• Experience with AWS, microservices, and API integrations.

Project:

• There are three main teams: Front Office, Trading Platform, and Core Back End. You will be an additional headcount for the Front Office team to help modernise the current Online Account Opening Module.

Responsibilities:

• Refactor legacy applications, addressing technical debt and applying modern design principles
• Able to analyse business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for improvement.
• Strategic planning, decision making, leadership experience (have experience leading a small team) and will be taking some leadership experience from the lead as well.
• Reports to the Development Lead from the Front Office team based in Singapore
