Hyppies Pte. Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur is recruiting a technical leader to own the MarTech strategy, architecture and FY27 roadmap for a UK-based fintech platform.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in MarTech/Marketing Operations.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to drive technical trade-offs with business impact.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the MarTech strategy and architecture, including audits, roadmaps, data quality and governance.
• Lead technical decisions on when to buy, build, optimize or retire technology; manage vendor relations.

On-going projects / initiatives, and what you’ll be doing!

• Major modernization initiatives around CRM, CMS, server-side tracking and consent management, and launching behavioral analytics capabilities
• Take ownership of the MarTech strategy and architecture - covering technical audits, roadmap planning, data quality, system integrations, compliance and governance
• Lead vendor selection, negotiations and renewals - drive technical and commercial trade-off discussions around when to buy, build, optimize or retire technology
• Work at the intersection of technology, marketing and product - act as the key technical partner connecting Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data teams, while owning the FY27 MarTech roadmap, including a major rebrand initiative

• You will be reporting to the Head of Technology who is based in KL, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of Product

Must-have skills

• Technically proficient and comfortable within the TypeScript / JavaScript ecosystem
• Proven experience in MarTech and/or Marketing Operations - both technical hands-on and leadership/management experience
• Experienced in leading technical trade-off discussions - able to assess, implement, optimize and rationalize tech solutions and aligning it well with commercial outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, especially when managing stakeholders (technical and non-technical) - able to explain complex technical concepts simply while leading cross-functional teams

Grade | Level

• This role is a hybrid of technical leadership + hands-on engineering
• 7+ years of software engineering experience - ideally you have spent most of your career in the MarTech and Marketing Operations space (growth engineering or any related fields)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid, 4 days working in office
• Office located in Bangsar South, KL
