Job summary

Capcon Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to modernise the Online Account module within the Front Office team, collaborating with KL & SG colleagues. You will refactor legacy systems, define action plans, and contribute to strategic technical decisions under the Front Office leadership in Singapore.

The role requires strong .NET Core expertise, microservices experience, and AWS familiarity, with a hybrid work arrangement (KLCC area, 1 day WFH).

Qualifications

.NET Core 7 or higher proficiency.
Experience leading a small team and coordinating across functions.
Ability to refactor legacy apps and manage technical debt.
Experience with AWS, microservices, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

Refactor legacy applications, addressing technical debt and applying modern design principles.
Analyse business objectives, prepare action plans and identify areas for improvement.
Strategic planning and leadership responsibilities, including guiding a small team.
Report to the Development Lead from the Front Office team based in Singapore.
