Job summary

Capcon Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking mid to senior engineers to contribute to the digital transformation of a clinic management system. You will design scalable backend services, APIs and cloud deployments as part of a modern micro-services architecture.

The role focuses on C#, .NET Core (3.1+), and optionally Angular/React, with on-site collaboration in Uptown Damansara area and a strong emphasis on self-discipline and independence.

Qualifications

• .NET Framework / .NET Core (3.1+) and C# proficiency.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with building scalable back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable system architectures.
• Build and manage back-end services and APIs.
• Set up deployment pipelines and perform testing (unit/integration).

Culture & reporting lines

• Working on the digital transformation of legacy CMS system - current system is on Asp.net and Angular - and will be migrated to .Net Core & Angular (micro-services and cloud architecture)
• The team has 12 senior engineers, with ambitions to grow to 20 in 2024.
• T-Shape team, each engineer collaborates across disciplines

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable system architectures.
• Build and manage back-end services and APIs
• Deployment pipeline on AWS
• Testing (unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests)

Must Have

• .NET Framework / .Net Core (Version 3.1 or newer)
• C#

Nice to have

• Angular or React
• AWS

Grade

• Mid level (min 5 years +) <10k
• Senior (5-10 years) >10K
• These are IC roles that suit technically strong engineers, you are expected to need little training, be self disciplined and able to work independently.
• Reporting Tech Lead who reports to the GM.
