Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY (JOHOR) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to manage purchasing and sourcing for sheet metal materials, standard components, machining parts, and subcontracting services.

You will plan procurement, source suppliers, maintain BOM accuracy, drive cost reductions, and prepare monthly reports. The role requires 3+ years in purchasing and at least 2 years in metal or machining, plus strong negotiation and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the sheet metal or machining industry.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement activities for materials, parts and related items.
• Source sheet metal materials, standard components and machining parts.
• Maintain BOM accuracy, material lead times and pricing in the system.
• Identify and develop new suppliers and ensure registration per policy.
• Monitor cost, delivery schedule and performance of subcontractors.
• Drive cost reduction and lead-time improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports for Management.
