Job summary

SF Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage procurement activities including PRs, tenders, and supplier communications. You will ensure timely issuance of POs, monitor deliveries, and maintain stock levels to support production needs.

As part of a dynamic metal fabrication group established in 2012, you will develop strong relationships with vendors, verify quality of purchased materials, and collaborate with superior on additional tasks as needed. Fluency in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requisitions by checking item requirements, pricing, and identifying potential vendors.
• Issue Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Follow up on delivery schedules and re-scheduling as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Verify that all purchased materials & parts meet quality standards.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.
