Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking an Equipment & Hardware Engineer to install, maintain, and improve production and test equipment, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role involves close collaboration with OSAT partners worldwide to support manufacturing operations and drive efficiency. The candidate will work cross-functionally with Production, Process, Quality, and Vendor teams to enhance equipment performance, minimize downtime, and implement best practices in equipment management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in equipment engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing engineering.
• Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, especially in final test operations and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, and commission new equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) to ensure maximum tool uptime.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and production issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software domains.
• Maintain accurate equipment documentation, logs, PM checklists, and spare parts records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, scrap, and maintenance costs.
• Support production and test operations to meet output, quality, and cycle-time targets.
• Liaise with equipment vendors for installation, upgrades, repairs, and technical support.
