Mediconnexions Consulting Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an event planner to join our Malaysia-based medical marketing team. You will liaise with clients, design proposals, and manage venues, suppliers and budgets for engaging events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related industry.
• Good negotiation skills, with the ability to secure competitive pricing from venues, suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to manage event budgets and timelines effectively.
• An objective and professional attitude.
• Familiarity with virtual event platforms and the ability to evaluate their suitability for different client needs.
• Willingness to travel when required to support project needs.

Responsabilités

• Event planning: Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and develop detailed proposals covering timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets.
• Supplier management: Research, appoint and negotiate with venues, suppliers and contractors while coordinating event logistics, budgets and on-site requirements.
• Event delivery: Manage pre-event preparations, guest speakers, delegate packs, briefings and event-day troubleshooting to ensure smooth and cost-effective execution.
• Virtual events: Assess available virtual event platforms, including their capabilities and limitations, and recommend suitable solutions for clients.
• Project follow-through: Oversee event dismantling and venue clearance, prepare post-event evaluation reports, identify new client and event opportunities, and manage non-event-related projects as required.
