Job summary

SGS in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to drive growth in Medical Device Management & Compliance services. You will acquire new clients and expand existing accounts, acting as a trusted partner for regulatory and certification solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define scope, pricing, and service delivery, while monitoring market trends and regulatory updates to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years in business development/sales in medical device or regulatory services.
• Experience with medical device manufacturers, distributors, or importers.
• Exposure to certification bodies or notified bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for medical device management and compliance via new customer acquisition.
• Represent the organization as a trusted partner for regulatory and certification solutions.
• Achieve sales targets, revenue growth and market penetration.
• Prepare proposals and commercial offers with technical teams.
• Engage clients through meetings and reviews to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate with operations to define scope, pricing, and service delivery.
• Monitor regulatory updates and competitor activity in the medical device industry.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and promotion.
• Maintain CRM records and report on pipeline and performance.
