Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager (MEP) to lead the end-to-end delivery of mechanical and electrical systems for data center projects.

The role requires managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure safe, compliant, and timely handovers. The successful candidate will bring 10+ years in MEP project management, deep knowledge of HVAC, power, fire protection and plumbing, and a hands-on leadership style

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management in MEPr/engineering, data centers preferred.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, power, fire protection and plumbing for data centers.
• Experience with approvals, IST testing and commissioning of critical infrastructure.
• CAPEX planning, cost estimation and understanding of TCO for MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP construction lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Coordinate with site teams and contractors to meet milestones.
• Lead MEP contract negotiations and monitor budgets.
• Collaborate with consultants on design and construction of MEP systems.
• Drive safety and compliance with regulations on site.
• Promote continuous improvement and quality control.
