Aurora Talent is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Malaysia to serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical building services. You will lead design, calculations, system architecture, and delivery of ACMV/HVAC and Central Chilled Water systems from concept through construction administration.

You will interface with clients and architects to drive integrated MEP solutions, mentor a team, and ensure QA/QC and milestone delivery on major regional developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 10–15+ years of progressive engineering consultancy design experience leading large scale mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Deep knowledge of central chilled water plant design, hydraulic distribution, and ventilation controls.
• Experience with hyperscale data centres, semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, or high-density facilities is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the concept, schematic, and detailed engineering design of mission-critical mechanical systems.
• Perform and review complex calculations including thermal loads, pumps, and CFD airflow modeling oversight.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).
• Interface with clients, architects, and external stakeholders to drive integrated MEP design solutions.
• Direct and mentor a team of engineers and BIM modelers for QA/QC and timely milestones.
• Author technical specifications, bill of quantities, and design basis reports.
