Job summary

B-Global Tech is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer for data centre delivery across APAC. You will lead mechanical design for mission-critical facilities, mentor engineers, and drive engineering standards while collaborating with diverse teams and clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, innovation, and excellence in designing high-availability infrastructure with robust sustainability considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design consultancy experience delivering large-scale data centres.
• Experience coordinating with clients, developers, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of mission-critical data centre projects.
• Lead design reviews and mitigate technical risks.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, civil, ICT, structural, and architectural teams.
• Provide technical leadership across concurrent projects and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support commissioning, site inspections and FAT.
• Mentor engineers within the MEP team.
• Contribute to proposals and business development.
• Set engineering standards and best practices.
