Advanced Energy Management Limited in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier selection, quality control, and NPI support. You will drive process capability assessments, audit critical suppliers, and track performance to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality components.

The role requires 5+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing quality, hands-on experience with SPC/FMEA/8D, and knowledge of ISO/RoHS standards.

Qualifications

Experience in electronics manufacturing process and quality control.
Experience with quality tools: SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
Knowledge of ISO procedures and RoHS; ISO 9001 preferred.
Experience auditing, qualifying, and selecting suppliers.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage supplier process control, incoming quality and technical capability.
Report and manage supplier performance.
Ensure suppliers’ manufacturing processes deliver high quality products on time.
Represents and supports supplier selection based on capability and capacity; conducts surveys of potential suppliers.
Assists in development of commodity strategy; collaborates with NPI quality to fix DFX issues.
Audit key suppliers and prepare audit reports; manage supplier quality goals and monthly reports.
Prepare QBR for Quality and attend; support NPI development and First Article qualification.
Regular review of FMEA and SPM with vendors to ensure improvement and control.
Maintain confidentiality; adhere to quality, safety, environment policies.
