Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz seeks a Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and control in its advanced electronic manufacturing facility. You will drive PFMEA, SPC and 8D CAPA, work with R&D, suppliers, and manufacturing teams, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and local regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, audit readiness, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a diverse, global environment. This position is based at our Johor Bahru facility.

Qualifications

• Oversee all quality assurance and control within manufacturing facility.
• Implement and improve the quality management system per ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Develop defects prevention and corrective action plans with a data-driven approach.
• Drive PFMEA, SPC and 8D CAPA to stabilize processes and improve quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality assurance and control within our manufacturing facility.
• Coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
• Lead supplier quality activities including incoming quality and SCAR management.
• Develop effective quality control processes aligned with customer needs.
• Plan, execute, and follow up on audits including certification audits where applicable.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams resolving customer quality issues.
• Foster an open error reporting culture with rapid containment and root cause prevention.
• Prepare regular quality performance reports for management review.
