Job summary

FAETH Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our production team.

You will plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities for national and international projects, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective manufacturing, with collaboration across Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing and Warehouse teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechatronics Engineering with at least 5 years

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production planning and manufacturing processes, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001 is an advantage.
• Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style.
• Good English skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work in Perai, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities for national and international projects
• Develop and optimize production and capacity plans
• Ensure on-time, high-quality, and cost-efficient manufacturing
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams
• Review engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing documentation
• Support product development, prototyping, and process improvements
• Analyze production performance and implement efficiency and cost optimization measures
• Ensure material availability and optimal resource utilization
• Prepare production, capacity, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
