You will support and improve manufacturing processes, machinery and technical capabilities, working closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Management to ensure reliable production and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing, engineering, production or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical and process-related production issues.
• Support capacity planning, production transfers and new equipment projects.
• Develop work instructions, tooling and technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean, VSM and TPM initiatives.
• Support daily production to achieve delivery, quality and productivity targets.
• Monitor production performance, capacity and machine utilisation.
• Work with supervisors and operators to resolve production issues.
• Improve production flow and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support manpower and capacity planning.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
• Improve machine reliability and reduce breakdowns and downtime.
• Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Manage maintenance records, schedules and spare-parts planning.
• Coordinate machine repairs, contractors and technical service providers.

Position Overview

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the organisation's manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment and technical capabilities. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Management to ensure reliable production, improve manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement across the factory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineering:

• Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical and process-related production issues.
• Support capacity planning, production transfers and new equipment projects.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing, engineering, production or maintenance experience.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial machinery.
• Experience with CNC, grinding, automation, maintenance or process improvement is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience is an advantage.

Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies

• Strong practical problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with production teams.
• Structured, systematic and results‑oriented.
• Good command of English.
