Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Secure and govern the strategic partnerships required to establish a credible integrated healthcare, academic, research, digital and innovation ecosystem.

The role will convert high-level relationships into executable agreements carrying clear commercial, academic, clinical and value-realisation milestones.

JOB DESCRIPTION
International Healthcare Partnership

Deepen collaboration with a leading international academic medical institution across clinical pathways, education, research, specialist collaboration, data initiatives and technology validation. Ensure all extensions remain within existing contractual, brand, clinical and governance requirements.

Genomics, Digital and Technology Partnerships

Lead selection and negotiation with global genomics, precision-medicine, cloud, artificial-intelligence and digital-health partners. Secure appropriate platform access, capability transfer, in-kind support, joint development arrangements and regulatory-pathway assistance.

Innovation and Venture Ecosystem

Select venture, accelerator and co-investment partners capable of supporting enterprise capability, commercialisation, leadership development and ecosystem access. Develop partnership structures that combine local institutional capability with international networks rather than dependence on a single provider.

Government and National-Agenda Alignment

Develop engagement briefs and collaboration arrangements with relevant ministries, agencies and regulators. Align the enterprise with national priorities in precision medicine, artificial intelligence, research, talent development, investment and health tourism.

Academic and Public-Institution Collaboration

Negotiate a master collaboration framework with universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes and public healthcare institutions. Establish joint governance, domain working groups, shared programmes and joint-appointment mechanisms.

Partnership Governance and Value Realisation

Implement a common partnership scorecard, partner forum, milestone register and value-realisation framework. Ensure no memorandum or agreement proceeds without accountable owners, deliverables, timelines, governance and measurable value.

Industry and Commercial Partner Pipeline

Build the pipeline for anchor industry, research, technology and innovation partners in collaboration with the commercial workstream. Coordinate senior-level engagement, due diligence, negotiation, approvals and relationship transition into business-as-usual ownership.

Key Deliverables
  • Partnership strategy, segmentation and prioritisation framework.
  • Government and regulatory engagement briefs.
  • Executed or execution-ready international healthcare, genomics, technology and innovation agreements.
  • Master collaboration framework with academic and public institutions.
  • Joint-programme and joint-appointment framework.
  • Partnership scorecard, governance calendar and value-realisation register.
  • Qualified pipeline of anchor industry and ecosystem partners.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Priority anchor partnerships executed or ready for execution within the programme timetable.
  • Target government, academic and institutional collaboration agreements completed.
  • All agreements contain accountable milestones and value-realisation measures.
  • Partner governance forums conducted in accordance with the approved cadence.
  • Joint appointments and collaborative programmes activated against agreed targets.
  • Strategic partner pipeline maintained with documented engagement status and next actions.
