Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks an experienced leader to secure and govern strategic partnerships across international academic medicine, genomics, digital health and innovation ecosystems.

The role converges high-level relationships into executable agreements with clear milestones spanning commercial, academic, clinical and value-realisation outcomes. You will shape venture collaborations, government alignment and joint-programme governance to advance KPJ’s regional healthcare leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, international relations, healthcare, life sciences, public policy or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in business, healthcare management or a related field is advantageous.
• 10+ years in strategic partnerships, international business development, academic collaboration or government affairs within healthcare, life sciences or technology.

Responsibilities

• Deepen collaboration with international academic medical institutions across clinical pathways, education, research, specialist collaboration, data initiatives and technology validation.
• Lead selection and negotiation with global genomics, precision-medicine, cloud, artificial-intelligence and digital-health partners.
• Develop partnership structures that combine local institutional capability with international networks.
• Negotiate master collaboration frameworks with universities, teaching hospitals, research institutes and public healthcare institutions.
• Implement a partnership scorecard, governance calendar and value-realisation framework.
