Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager, Integral Life Delivery Management to lead a team of developers across multiple projects and contribute as a hands-on coder when required. The role demands strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management to ensure timely, quality delivery of Integral Life applications in the life insurance domain.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in application development for life insurance with Integral Life/Life Asia COBOL.
• Must be able to self-code as part of the job responsibilities.
• Intermediate knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SMART/400, Control Language and SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, deployment and support of Integral Life Application.
• Coach, mentor and monitor team performance against KPI.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align on requirements and goals.
• Manage resource planning, budgeting and adherence to SDLC standards.
• Ensure system delivery within scope, timeline and quality.
• Handle production incidents and provide EOD batch support as needed.
• Provide management updates on system/project activities.
• Understand functionalities and technical aspects of the system and assess impact on interfacing systems.
