Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia is seeking an experienced development lead to drive Integral Life Delivery Management for the SG Tech team. You will oversee development, deployment and support of Integral Life applications, ensuring delivery meets business requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in life insurance application development using Integral Life/Life Asia COBOL, with proficiency in AS400, COBOL, SMART/400, Control Language, and SQL.

Qualifications

Intermediate knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SMART/400, Control Language and SQL development.
Has minimum 10 years of working experience in application development for life insurance domain using Integral Life/Life Asia COBOL system.

Responsibilities

Act as team lead, accountable for team performance and development.
Align expectations and goals with reporting managers.
Involve in team resource planning and budgeting.
Gather system requirements, perform impact analysis, propose solutions, and code develop.
Unit testing, UAT support (incl. EOD batch) and deployment (BAU and Projects).
Obey and follow prevailing SDLC, development and other standards.
Deliver system results on scope, timeline, and quality.
Provide management updates on system/project activities.
Mentor juniors and participate in knowledge sharing and system upgrades.
