Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager for Corporate Solutions Operations to lead a team delivering policy issuance, underwriting and billing administration. You will oversee credit control, renewal assessments, and data quality while driving process improvements and system enhancements.

The role requires 8 years in the field, Bachelor’s or higher in any field, with exposure to employee benefits operations preferred. Manage and coach staff to achieve top-line outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• 8 years of working experience in the related field for this position
• Preferably with exposure in the insurance industry (Employee benefits operations)

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to provide efficient day-to-day operational support for policy issuance, underwriting and billing administration.
• Ensure receipting, premium refund, experience refund and commission payout meet turnaround times per Credit Control Procedures.
• Implement credit control measures to achieve outstanding premium and claim recovery at minimal levels (reminders, suspensions, cancellations, demand notices).
• Ensure accurate and timely renewal assessments within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain departmental data quality within internal control standards.
• Drive productivity via continuous process improvement and system enhancements.
• Review outsourced provider contracts and service level performance.
• Submit accurate and timely reports to Actuarial, Compliance, Risk, Finance and other departments.
• Participate in product development and regulatory initiatives.
• Manage, train, develop and coach staff for growth and performance.
