Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a senior risk and control professional to evolve the CIB Group Control testing team and implement the target operating model. You will clearly define roles, coach and manage the team to uphold risk standards in a dynamic banking environment.

The role covers control testing, risk assessment coordination, data management, and governance reporting, partnering with Global Process Owner and control owners while promoting ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Risk, control and analytics experience with progressive responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and lending products (derivatives, FX, Rates, etc.).
• Proficiency with Tableau and MS Office; SQL is a plus.
• Excellent time management and data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: evolve the CIB Group control testing team Target Operating Model and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
• Business: support Markets & FSS Control testing teams serving COO & GMO Risk and Control function.
• Control testing: design and operate testing, identify and escalate control failures, track remediation actions.
• Global Process Owner support: risk assessment coordination, monitor exceptions, data maintenance.
• Governance and regulatory conduct: participate in governance routines and ensure ethics and policy adherence.
• Produce MI and risk analytics for management meetings.
