Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an accomplished professional to lead conformance testing across Technology Risk Management. You will drive independent controls assessment and thematic reviews, partnering with risk managers and senior leadership to identify weaknesses and drive uplift in the control environment.

The role requires deep hands-on experience in risk management, controls testing, and the ability to shape strategy, governance, and reporting across global technology domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10–15 years in technology risk, audit or compliance for financial institutions.
• Experience with technology control self-assessment and reporting.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning, execution and reporting of controls assurance and testing for Technology.
• Develop and maintain Control Self-Assessment Review methodology and templates.
• Deliver consistent control reviews and uplift technology risk controls.
• Lead control self-assessment activities and communicate findings to owners.
• Own working papers, reporting and tracking for risk forums.
• Collaborate with risk managers and technology domains to strengthen controls.
