Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced assurance professional to lead risk-based reviews and support the Group FC Assurance agenda across geographies. The role reports into the Head of Financial Crime Assurance and collaborates with CFCR assurance teams to deliver timely insights and remediation validation.

You will promote high ethics, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive continuous improvement in assurance methodology while aligning with regulatory expectations and Group policies.

Qualifications

• Strong assurance, risk and control testing experience in banking.
• Regulatory inspection or audit experience within Financial Crime.
• Ability to lead and transform risk and control testing/audit.
• Excellent communicator across matrixed organisations.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk-based assurance coverage aligned to policy and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain quality across planning, fieldwork, reporting and issue validation.
• Collaborate with 1LoD risk owners and testing teams.
• Deliver concise reporting, escalation and remediation validation.
