Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to lead high-impact Compliance audits across global teams. You will guide scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting, engaging senior stakeholders to drive measurable improvements.

With 10+ years in audit or compliance, you will apply data analytics and AI-enabled testing to strengthen risk assessment and control effectiveness across geographies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in internal audit, regulatory, risk or Compliance.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-jurisdictional audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality Compliance audits, acting as Team Lead or SME as required.
• Take end-to-end accountability for assigned audits: scoping, planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up.
• Set audit direction, review work, and ensure conclusions are evidence-based.
• Identify control gaps, articulate root causes, and secure action plans.
• Contribute to data-led auditing and AI-enabled testing approaches.
