Job summary

Ngai Mee Group in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to execute and supervise maintenance and project work according to industrial safety standards, protecting production uptime.

You will train workers, minimize malfunctions, follow ISO procedures, fill records on time, and contribute to quality and product safety through internal audits and system improvements. The role is based in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Provide close supervision on the quality of maintenance work or projects.
• Continue to obtain electrical, electronic and mechanical knowledge and conduct recursive training.
• Measure, check and monitor the performance of equipment and machines, planning repairs to avoid downtime.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise project work under the industrial safety standard.
• Execute and supervise preventive maintenance for all plant and production equipment and machineries.
• Provide equipment and machine knowledge and training to workers as needed.
• Execute and supervise to minimize malfunctions and technical breakdowns.
• Execute and supervise daily maintenance work.
• Follow ISO procedures and industrial safety guidelines.
• Fill up all forms, records and reports on time.
• Study and modify parts or tools to facilitate the production process.
• Maintain all working tools, parts, and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to the Quality & Product Safety Policy.
• Develop the system through ISO meetings and internal audits.
• Maintain documents, procedures and records in the department for quality & product safety.

Job description

Execute and supervise project work which is carried out under the industrial safety standard.

Execute and supervise preventive maintenance for all plant's & production equipment and machineries.

Provide equipment and machine knowledge and training to existing/new workers as and when need arise

Execute and supervise to minimize the malfunction and technical breakdown of the equipment and machine at all time.

Execute and supervise daily maintenance work.

Execute and supervise the works follow the ISO procedure and industrial safety.

Execute and supervise to fill up all the forms, records and reports on time.

Study and modify part or tools to facilitate the production process.

Maintain all working tools, part, and equipment in good condition.

To adhere to the Quality & Product Safety Policy.

Responsible for any Product Safety related matter especially on the hazards.

To develop the system through ISO meeting and internal audits.

To maintain the documents, procedures and records in the department to both quality & product safety matter.

Requirements

Provide close supervision on the quality of performed/in progress project or maintenance work or ungrading/repairing work.

Continue to obtain electrical, electronic and mechanic industrial knowledge and conduct recursive training.

Measure, check and monitor the performance of the equipment and machines. And preventive action is possible to avoid foreseeable cause for downtime. Plan, manage and monitor the repair/modify parts and equipment & machines is delivered on time.
