Job summary

Mah Sing Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to review and oversee M&E design drawings, calculations, and specifications across developments, ensuring alignment with project requirements, budgets, and local regulations.

You will lead design coordination with architectural, structural, civil and landscape teams, drive value engineering, and oversee tender reviews, shop drawings, testing, commissioning, and handover activities, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) status with BEM is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years of M&E experience in property development or construction, incl. 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge in building services and authority requirements.
• Excellent coordination, leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and M&E design review tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate M&E drawings, calculations and technical specs with consultants to meet project requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic input during concept and schematic design stages for cost-effective, efficient M&E systems.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, civil and landscape teams to resolve interfaces and ensure integration.
• Oversee M&E design during construction and implementation to meet approved drawings and standards.
• Support tender processes by reviewing tender drawings and technical specs; participate in clarifications and evaluations.
• Provide technical oversight for testing, commissioning and handover; assist with post-construction rectifications.
