Job summary

Tan Chong Group is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to plan, coordinate and drive MEP works for building projects. You will liaise with consultants and end users, prepare price schedules and evaluate tender quotations, ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires a Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering and 4–5 years' relevant experience in construction or contracting, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Local location: Jalan Ipoh, KL.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
• 4–5 years in building construction, consultants or contracting.
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate and drive works to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with consultants for optimum M&E design.
• Liaise with end users for M&E service requirements.
• Prepare Schedule of Price and design M&E services.
• Source material pricing for cost comparison and evaluate quotations.
• Coordinate with local authorities on MEP requirements.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of building M&E services.
