Job summary

Pacificview Development Group Sdn Bhd in Forest City Johor is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our on-site team for large-scale mechanical and electrical projects. You will design, implement and maintain M&E systems, collaborating with architects, contractors and engineers to ensure project success.

The role requires 3–5 years in M&E, strong CAD/BIM skills and knowledge of local building regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in M&E engineering, preferably in construction or property development.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems design, installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools.
• Familiarity with Malaysian building regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee the implementation of mechanical and electrical systems for building projects and installations.
• Conduct detailed technical assessments and feasibility studies for M&E systems and components.
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, drawings and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineering professionals to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
• Monitor and supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and troubleshoot system failures to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, building codes and environmental standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel.
• Maintain accurate project records and prepare progress reports for project management teams.
