Job summary

JIANGSU INSTALLATION SDN BHD is seeking a seasoned M&E Project Lead to oversee electrical, plumbing, fire protection and HVAC systems from design through commissioning in Malaysia. You will review drawings, ensure clash-free layouts, and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with a main contractor or M&E design consultancy, strong knowledge of Malaysia standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in M&E or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of M&E design, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with Malaysia standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical management and coordination of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and related M&E systems across projects from design coordination to commissioning.
• Review drawings, specs, data, and BOQs to identify clashes and risks.
• Manage M&E detailed design, drawing optimisation and coordinated layouts.
• Prepare and review method statements, technical submissions, material/equipment submissions and RFIs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structures, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Monitor site quality, progress, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee M&E inspections, defect rectification, as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Support Project Manager with planning, resources, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
