Job summary

SCHOTT Glass (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Lean Six Sigma lead to roll out and sustain a full-site culture of continuous improvement. You will coach cross-functional teams, align projects with business plans, and drive productivity, quality, and cost-reduction gains.

You will train process owners, enable data-driven decisions, and ensure rapid, sustainable improvements across operations, including Belter processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of Lean Six Sigma experience with proven project leadership.
• Skilled in Minitab/JMP and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experienced in training and coaching process owners in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Proven track record in building and leading a Lean Six Sigma culture.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of LSS to roll out and sustain Lean Six Sigma culture across the site.
• Ensure projects and initiatives are aligned with business plans; advise on project selection, resources, and prioritization.
• Monitor site productivity, quality improvements, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Lead and coach cross-functional Lean Six Sigma initiatives with process owners.
• Facilitate framework adoption, root-cause analysis, corrective actions; conduct independent performance reviews.
• Train and coach on tools and methodologies; support process improvements and capability building.
