Job summary

Humanetics Precision Metal Fabrication (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Import/Export Coordinator to manage factory import/export activities and related documentation. The role requires hands-on LMW experience, HS code knowledge, and strong liaison with customs, freight forwarders, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse).
• Strong knowledge of HS Code classification and customs procedures.
• Good understanding of import/export forms, declarations and supporting documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant import/export or customs systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all factory import and export activities.
• Prepare, check and manage import/export, customs and LMW documentation and forms.
• Ensure correct HS Code classification for imported and exported goods.
• Handle day-to-day LMW-related matters, declarations and documentation.
• Work with Warehouse team to ensure proper receiving, storage, movement and documentation of goods.
• Coordinate with Finance on import/export documentation, customs, costing and duties/taxes.
• Liaise with Royal Malaysian Customs, government departments, freight forwarders, and shipping agents.
• Follow up on issues related to customs, LMW, import/export and documentation.
• Attend government/customs offices when required to clarify queries or submit documents.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export and LMW transactions.
• Ensure compliance with customs and LMW requirements and procedures.
• Assist during Customs audits, inspections and LMW-related reviews.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Finance and Logistics.
• Handle LMW and import/export matters independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to visit government/customs offices when required to handle queries.
