Job summary

GLOBAL PARCEL SERVICE (MY) SDN. BHD. is expanding in ASEAN and seeks a Senior Logistics Executive. You will manage vendor, carrier, and customer relationships, negotiate rates for long-term savings, and propose value-added solutions to enhance client satisfaction while coordinating cross-country bookings.

The role requires at least 5 years in logistics, a university degree, strong English, and openness to learning in a fast-paced environment. Chinese language is an advantage.

Qualifications

• University degree with good command of English, speaking Chinese is advantageous.
• 5+ years in logistics industry.
• Rigorous, well organized and detail-oriented under senior leadership.
• Open-minded and fast learner.

Responsibilities

• Vendor, carrier, and customer relationship management.
• Rate negotiation with vendor for long term cost saving.
• Identify and offer value-added solutions to existing customers.
• Collaborate with finance to review client shipping patterns for retention.
• Coordinate globally with cross-country bookings.
• Resourcefulness using internal databases and industry networks for problem solving.
• Prepare onboarding SOP for new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Description

Vendor, carriers, and customers relationship management.

Rate negotiation with vendor for long term cost saving.

Proactive in identifying and offering value added solution to existing customers.

Collaborate with finance department to review client shipping pattern to increase client retention rates.

Global Coordination and cross-country booking experience.

Resourcefulness by utilize internal database, industry network for problem solving and crisis management.

New Customer onboarding SOP preparation.

Performing all other duties, activities, and responsibilities assigned by the superior whenever necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

· Working experience of at least 5 years in logistics industry

· University degree with good command of English , speaking Chinese is advantageous.;

· rigorous, well organized and detail-oriented in the work, and able to work under pressure under the senior leadership
