• Experience with ICT, telecom or large infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, vet and negotiate high-value agreements, including telecom equipment supply contracts, master service agreements, turnkey subcontractor agreements and NDAs.
• Assess major tender submissions for exposure on liability, indemnities, liquidated damages and warranties.
• Keep the business compliant with MCMC regulations, company law and the PDPA.
• Maintain company secretarial records, handle local licensing, and uphold corporate governance standards.
• Resolve commercial disputes before they reach litigation, including contractor claims and debt recovery.
• Work with outside Malaysian law firms to obtain specialist opinions and manage court or dispute proceedings.

Commercial contracts

• Fluent in legal English and Mandarin, able to review and draft bilingual contracts independently.
